Joshua Johnston

Joshua Johnston is a seasoned drilling professional with extensive experience in the oil and gas industry. Currently serving as a Field Superintendent at EOG Resources since December 2023, Joshua has held notable positions such as Drilling Supervisor at XCL Resources, where supervision of well site operations took place in Utah's Uintah Basin from December 2021 to November 2023. Previous roles include Drilling Consultant at Whiting Petroleum Corporation, overseeing drilling operations in North Dakota, and Directional Driller/Field Coordinator at Weatherford, leading directional drilling teams across various well profiles in the Western US. Joshua's career began as a Driller at Key Energy Services and Patterson UTI, and as a Roughneck at Colorado Well Service. Education includes a high school diploma from Uintah High School and Dubois High School.
