Leonardo Landivar Baron

Leonardo Landivar Baron is a seasoned geoscientist currently serving as an Operations Geologist at EOG Resources since August 2022, with prior experience as a Logging Geologist at Edge Systems. Specialized in geological and hydrocarbon well logging services in the Permian Basin, Leonardo has characterized lithology and monitored hydrocarbon concentrations using advanced technologies. Earlier roles include conducting tectonic analyses for hydrocarbon exploration at BRT Energy Advisors and performing seismic evaluations and petrophysical analyses during internships at Frostwood Energy, SEG EVOLVE, and Shell. Leonardo holds a Master’s degree in Geophysics from the University of Tulsa, where significant research focused on hydrocarbon accumulation and reservoir characterization.
