Michinori Asaka

Michinori Asaka is a Geophysicist with extensive experience at INPEX Corporation, having held various roles since 2009, including Development Geophysicist for the Ichthys LNG project and positions focused on seismic data optimization. Currently, Michinori serves as a Geophysicist at INPEX Corporation since July 2022. Academic qualifications include a PhD in Geological and Earth Sciences/Geosciences from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology, where research emphasized the practical applications of elastic anisotropy in rock physics, rock mechanics, and seismic reservoir characterization. Additionally, Michinori holds a Master of Engineering and a Bachelor of Engineering from the University of Tsukuba.
