Joshua Cole

Joshua Cole has a diverse range of work experience in the aerospace industry. Joshua is currently working at EOI Space as the Acting Director of Space Vehicles, where they oversee the operations in this area. Prior to this, Joshua worked at nLIGHT | Nutronics as a System Engineer for two years.

Joshua also has a significant history at Ball Aerospace, where they held various positions. Joshua served as the Chief System Engineer from 2018 to 2020 and was responsible for managing a team of over 100 employees. Additionally, Joshua worked as the Program Manager for the Ball Intern Remote Sensing Team (BIRST) program, overseeing payload development for different flight platforms.

At Ball Aerospace, Joshua also held the role of Functional Group Lead, in which they focused on the career development of their direct reports. Joshua was also part of the Leadership Development Program, participating in various activities aimed at growing early-to-mid career employees.

Before joining Ball Aerospace, Joshua gained experience as a Systems Engineer - Data Analysis, working on projects related to space-based and airborne earth-observing sensors.

Joshua's early work experience includes a role at the University of Colorado Colorado Springs, where they conducted biomechanical research related to gait analysis.

Joshua also had a technical internship at Ball Aerospace, during which they authored and presented an Annual Telemetry Trending Systems Engineering Report for the CloudSat program.

Joshua Cole attended the University of Colorado Colorado Springs from 2008 to 2013. During their time at the university, they pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering, with a minor in Aerospace.
