Rudy Benz has an extensive work experience in various companies. Rudy is currently working at EOTECH since January 2022, holding the position of CSO. Prior to this, from April 2021 to May 2022, they served as the CTO at Intevac Photonics, Inc. Before that, they worked at Intevac from November 2014 to September 2021, where they held the role of Managing Director Business Development. In 2014, Rudy worked as an Independent Consultant for a brief period of time. Their career also includes a position as the Chief Technologist and Offering Strategist for Night Vision at ITT Exelis from January 2012 to July 2014.
Rudy Benz pursued their education at Penn State University from 1980 to 1984. During this time, they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Engineering Science. In order to further expand their knowledge and expertise, Rudy then enrolled at the Georgia Institute of Technology in 1986. Rudy successfully completed their studies there and earned a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Condensed Matter and Materials Physics in 1992.
