Cyril Melikov

Director, Forest Restoration Initiatives at EP Carbon

Cyril Melikov is an experienced professional in forestry and natural climate solutions, currently serving as the Head of Forest Restoration and Management Projects at EP Carbon since May 2023. Previously, Cyril held roles as a Senior Research Analyst and Research Analyst at the Environmental Defense Fund, focusing on database management, data analysis using R, and collaboration with NGO partners on climate projects from August 2021 to May 2023. Cyril also worked as a Graduate Student Instructor at the University of California, Berkeley, supporting courses in environmental sciences and soil microbiology. Earlier experience includes roles as an Agronomic Project Coordinator in sustainable agriculture and various internships in agronomy, including at AIRINOV, a leader in agricultural drone technology. Cyril holds a Master’s degree in Forestry from the University of California, Berkeley, and a Bachelor of Science in Agricultural and Environmental Sciences from McGill University.
