Marleen van der Sar

Marleen van der Sar is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in project management, particularly in the fields of quality, compliance, and finance. Currently serving as Teamcoördinator Quality, Compliance & Finance at Nuffic since October 2024, Marleen previously worked as a Productmanager fulltextdigitalisering at Koninklijke Bibliotheek (KB) from October 2021 to October 2024. Prior to that, Marleen held the position of Publishing and Localisation Project Manager at the International Baccalaureate from December 2012 to October 2021, with expertise in international education, publication, localisation, and process improvement. Additional experience includes roles at The Language Lab Talenservice, Lionbridge, Mexx, and Pro 4 BV, demonstrating a strong background in client relations, logistics planning, and managing international teams. Marleen earned a Master’s degree in Italian language and culture from Leiden University, supplemented by a study period at Università per Stranieri di Perugia in 1998.
