Khir Musif Mohamad

Khir Musif Mohamad has extensive work experience in various roles related to maintenance and operations. Khir Musif started their career as a Marine Engineer at MISC BHD in 2000 and worked there until 2011. During this time, they were responsible for monitoring and operating the generating plant and auxiliary equipment.

After that, Khir worked as an Offshore Safety Trainer at MSTS ASIA SDN BHD from 2011 to 2012. In this role, they delivered training courses on offshore safety and emergency procedures. Khir Musif was also responsible for maintenance planning and equipment management.

From 2012 to 2013, Khir worked at M3NERGY BERHAD as a Maintenance Technician. Khir Musif ensured the safe and efficient operation of facility utilities systems.

In 2013, Khir joined Petrofac as a Marine Maintenance Technician. Khir Musif carried out surveillance watch and maintenance of operating machinery in a safe and efficient condition.

Khir was self-employed from 2016 to 2017 before joining E&P O&M Services Sdn Bhd (EPOMS) in 2017. At EPOMS, they held multiple roles including Lead Maintenance Technician, Acting Operation Supervisor, and Asset Monitoring System Engineer. In these roles, they supervised maintenance activities, conducted equipment analytics, and monitored equipment performance using real-time data.

Throughout their career, Khir has demonstrated strong technical skills in maintenance and operations, as well as expertise in safety training and equipment management.

Khir Musif Mohamad began their education journey at Sekolah Kebangsaan Chuping from 1987 to 1992, where they obtained their UPSR degree. Khir Musif then attended Sekolah Menengah Sains Raja Tun Azlan Shah from 1993 to 1997, specializing in Technical Science and earning their Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia degree. After completing their secondary education, Khir Musif Mohamad pursued further studies in Marine Engineering at the Malaysia Maritime Academy. From 2000 to 2003, they obtained a Diploma in Marine Engineering. In addition to their formal education, Khir Musif Mohamad holds a Certificate of Competency as an Officer in Charge of Engineering Watch of 750kW or more Unlimited Trade Voyage, although the institution and specific details are not provided.
