Philip Simon I Majanil

Philip Simon I Majanil has a diverse range of work experience in various roles and companies. Philip Simon started their career as a trainee instrument technician at Am Leong Engineering Sdn.Bhd in 2012. Philip Simon then worked as a freelance offshore technician at Petrocore / Unsur Hebat Sdn.Bhd in 2014. In 2015, they were a trainee instrument at SPR Energy Sdn.Bhd, where they gained practical experience in control and instrumentation maintenance.

From 2016 to 2017, Philip worked as an offshore technician at NauticAWT Energy Solutions, where they were involved in strengthening platforms and supporting pipelines in Mumbai, India. Philip Simon then joined Oceancare Corporation Sdn. Bhd. as an instrument technician from 2017 to 2019, where they performed preventive maintenance and troubleshooting on control instruments in Sabah.

In 2019, Philip held the role of supervisor/operation technician at Megaoilfield Services Sdn Bhd. Philip Simon performed hydrotests and Lokring installations on various projects for clients such as Shell and Repsol. Philip Simon also joined E&P O&M Services Sdn Bhd (EPOMS) in 2019 as an operation technician instrument, where they were part of a team involved in preventive and corrective maintenance at the Gumusut-Kakap FPS, and was also involved in the Gumusut Kakap Phase 2 project and start-up.

Philip Simon I Majanil attended the TAS Institute of Oil and Gas from 2013 to 2015, where they studied Instrumentation Engineering Operations in Oil and Gas. Prior to that, from 2011 to 2012, they attended the Institut Latihan Perindustrian / Industrial Training Institute Kota Kinabalu, where they studied Technology Mechanic Industri.
