Tom Wright

Tom Wright has a diverse work experience spanning multiple roles and industries. Tom started their career as a Mortgage Accountant at HBOS in 2006 and worked there until 2010. Tom then joined Wm Morrison Supermarkets Plc as a Finance Analyst, specializing in price and promotion optimization. In 2012, they moved to Northumbria University as a Deputy Finance Director, where they led planning, external reporting, and business intelligence teams. In 2015, they joined Formica Group Europe, where they held two roles: Commercial Profitability Manager and later Commercial and Operations Controller. In these roles, they were responsible for pricing, analytics, commercial project management, operational reporting, and financial planning. Most recently, in 2020, they became the Director of Commercial Finance (GB North) at EP UK Investments Ltd. Overall, Tom has demonstrated expertise in finance, analytics, strategic planning, and business operations.

Tom Wright completed a Bachelor of Engineering in Aeronautical Engineering at the University of Salford from 2003 to 2006. Tom then pursued Accounting, obtaining an ACMA degree from Kaplan Financial from 2007 to 2010.
