Vida Amanat has a strong background in managing programs and partnerships in various organizations focused on youth empowerment and development. With experience in overseeing educational initiatives, community programs, and youth career development, Vida has successfully led teams, designed programs, and established partnerships to support the growth and well-being of youth in the community. Additionally, Vida's role as an Executive Assistant showcases their ability to maximize efficiency and effectiveness within executive teams. Their academic background in Psychology and Global Poverty from University of California, Berkeley further strengthens their understanding of social issues and community engagement.

EPACENTER
EPACENTER is a creative youth development center in East Palo Alto that amplifies the creative potential in every young person. Our mission is to create opportunities for youth in the community in East Palo Alto to discover and amplify their talents, realize their potential, and bring positive impact to the world through their creative expression. EPACENTER provides approximately 500 youth per year with free programming in the digital, literary, visual and performing arts. EPACENTER offers programming along three developmental pathways: • Arts education classes that help students develop their 21st Century skills like creativity, teamwork, and perseverance • Job training programs in creative fields that close gaps in skills and build competencies • On-going socio-emotional support throughout their engagement with our programs to help them thrive as they age Our age-differentiated programs are led by professional artists, designers, and licensed clinicians with programs taking place during the school day, after-school and during the summer. EPACENTER envisions a future where all young people in and of East Palo Alto will have the opportunity to become creative innovators, and enjoy economic and social success in their community.
