Emily Xiaomeng Jiang has a diverse range of work experience in various design roles. Emily Xiaomeng started their career in 2014 as a Retail Store Researcher at Hegii Sanitary Ware Co., Ltd., where they conducted on-site observations and interviews at stores and facilitated co-creation workshops. In 2014, they also worked as a Signage System Designer at Beijing Qingya Design Development Crop., Ltd., leading a team to analyze circulation plans and create implementation plans.

In 2015, Emily served as a Web Design Intern at Tusstar Angel Investment, gaining experience in web design. Emily Xiaomeng then joined Oranj in 2016 as a Design Intern, where they collaborated with developers and project managers to build information architectures and prototypes. Emily Xiaomeng also led a user-centered research project on future opportunities for financial advisors.

In 2016, Emily worked as a Design Strategy Consultant as part of the India Immersion Program at Godrej & Boyce Mfg. Co. Ltd. The following year, they became a User Researcher at IIT Institute of Design, focusing on user research methodologies.

Emily's experience continued to grow in 2021 when they joined PassKit as a UX Designer. Emily Xiaomeng then moved to EPAM Continuum, starting as an Experience Designer in 2017 and progressing to the role of Design Strategist. Emily Xiaomeng currently holds the position of Senior Design Strategist at EPAM Continuum.

Throughout their career, Emily has demonstrated a strong focus on user-centered design and a knack for collaborating with various teams to create innovative solutions.

Emily Xiaomeng Jiang obtained a Master's Degree in Design Research and Planning from the Institute of Design (ID) from 2015 to 2017. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Design-Exhibition Design from Tsinghua University, a prestigious institution, from 2011 to 2015. In 2012 and 2013, they attended EF Executive Language Institute where they completed Level 13 in Applied English. Additionally, Emily has obtained several certifications, including "Agile Development Practices" and "Design the Web: CSS Animated Rollovers" from Lynda.com in 2017, "UX Foundations: Information Architecture" from Lynda.com in 2016, and "Protecting Human Subject Research Participants" from The National Institutes of Health (NIH) Office of Extramural Research in 2015. Emily Xiaomeng also completed courses on "Designing with Grids in InDesign" and "Foundations of UX: Information Architecture" from Lynda.com in 2014 and 2016, respectively.
