Kate Waldo, CTRS, ACC, currently serves as the Parks Project Manager for the City of Manchester, NH, since June 2022 within the Parks, Recreation, and Cemetery Division. Prior experience includes roles as the National Director of Recreation and Guest Services at Genesis from August 2014 to May 2022 and as Executive Director at Hearthstone Alzheimer's Care from July 2013 to August 2014. Kate also held positions as Project Management Guide and Educator at The Green House Project (February 2012 - July 2013), Training and Organizational Development Specialist at PHI from January 2005 to February 2012, Harbor Program Director at Benchmark Senior Living (July 2004 - January 2005), Assistant Administrator, and Director of Recreational Therapy at Neville Manor Skilled Nursing Facility (January 2001 - July 2004). Academic qualifications include a Master of Science in Parks, Recreation, and Tourism Management with a focus on Recreational Therapy from Clemson University and a Bachelor of Science in Therapeutic Recreation/Recreational Therapy from Western Carolina University.
