Ray Hashimee, PE, CCM has extensive work experience in the field of tunnel construction and engineering. Ray began their career as a Tunnel Engineer at Frontier-Kemper Constructors, Inc. in December 2003 and later became a Senior Tunnel Engineer. During their time at Frontier-Kemper, they worked on the Brightwater Conveyance Tunnel Project, which involved the construction of two segmental lined tunnels using slurry TBM machines. Ray was responsible for the design and construction of these tunnels, as well as the installation of pipe and the management of the launching and receiving shafts. In 2011, Ray joined EPC Consultants, Inc. and served as the Assistant Resident Engineer for the Blue Plains Tunnel Design-Build Contract, which was part of the DC Clean Rivers Program. Ray then took on the role of Resident Engineer for the Construction Management Team for the Main Pumping Station Diversions Design-Build Contract. In 2017, they were promoted to Regional Manager and most recently, they serve as the Principal and VP of Tunnels at EPC Consultants, Inc.
Ray Hashimee, PE, CCM has a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Civil Engineering from Rutgers University. Ray is also a Certified Construction Manager (CCM) certified by the Construction Management Association of America (CMAA).
