Martin Kennedy

Martin Kennedy is a seasoned leader with extensive experience in sustainability, public affairs, and government relations. Currently serving as Director of Sustainability & External Relations at EPCOR since September 2017, Martin oversees government and Indigenous relations, communications, public engagement, community relations, and ESG reporting. Previous roles include Director of Public & Government Affairs at EPCOR and Vice President of External Affairs at Capital Power Corporation, where Martin championed public policy and community initiatives. Martin's career also includes significant positions in the Government of Alberta, Weber Shandwick Worldwide, and contributions to Indigenous economic development, showcasing a strong commitment to strategic communication and community engagement. Martin holds an MBA with Distinction from Heriot-Watt University and a degree from the University of Alberta.
