Muhammad Naim Ilyas has over 30 years of banking experience. Muhammad Naim worked as the Sr. Director of Corporate Strategy & Planning at Ephlux, where they focused on enhancing customer experience and implementing business process re-engineering initiatives. Muhammad Naim also worked as an Independent Trade/Debt Management Consultant, providing advisory services for cash flow management and debt resolution. Additionally, they worked as a Consultant at PAAR Investment Co. Ltd., managing troubled credit portfolios and developing credit processes. Muhammad Naim held various positions at United Bank Limited, including SVP of Business Dev. and Strategic Planning/Business Transformation, GM in Bahrain, and Business Head/Senior VP of Financial Institutions. Muhammad Naim also worked at Askari Bank as the Head of Wholesale Banking Unit in Bahrain. Prior to that, they worked as a Marketing Executive at Universal Business, achieving business targets and coordinating sales and engineering departments.

Muhammad Naim Ilyas pursued their education in a chronological manner. Muhammad Naim first attended the University of Karachi from 1974 to 1977, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc) degree in Applied Chemistry. Following this, they enrolled in the Institute of Business Administration from 1977 to 1981, completing a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree with a focus on Marketing and Finance. After a brief gap, in 1985-1986, they attended the Institute of Bankers, Pakistan, where they earned a Diplomaed Associate degree in Banking and Financial Support Services.
