Fredrik Hjelm is a seasoned entrepreneur and leader, currently serving as Co-Founder and CEO of Voi Technology since January 2018, where the mission focuses on electrifying and decarbonizing urban transportation. Fredrik also holds the position of Pledger at Epic Foundation, promoting social good by pledging part of business success to benefit disadvantaged children and youth globally. As a Reserve Officer and Defence Attaché in the Swedish Armed Forces since 2013, Fredrik engages in analytical work on security and political trends in Russia, Kazakhstan, and Belarus. Additionally, Fredrik founded Guestit, a tech-driven hospitality management platform, and has been involved with the SSE Business Lab, fostering new business ventures. Previous consultancy experience includes a role at Boston Consulting Group within the retail and industrial sectors. Fredrik's educational background includes a Bachelor of Arts in Russian Studies from Uppsala University and further studies at the Stockholm School of Economics and the Swedish Armed Forces Interpreter Academy.
