Bill Clifford

VP & GM, Creator Marketplace at Epic Games

William "Bill" Clifford is the current Vice President and General Manager of the Creator Marketplace at Epic Games. Bill has also previously served as the Senior Vice President of Global Sales and Servicing at Mastercard, as well as the Chief Revenue Officer at SessionM.

Clifford has had a long and successful career in sales and marketing, starting with their time at Mastercard. There, they led a global specialist sales organization within the Data and Services division, responsible for generating revenue growth from loyalty solutions across merchant and financial services segments. Bill was also responsible for driving adoption of SessionM's SDK and rewards platform with mobile app developers across gaming, fitness, shopping, sports, news, weather, and entertainment categories - reaching over 100 million iOS and Android devices in North America.

In 2015, Clifford led a successful pivot into the software-as-a-service (SaaS) market by restructuring the organization, designing and executing a new go-to-market strategy, and building a new sales organization. Bill played a key role in bringing on new investors including Salesforce and General Atlantic. Over the course of two years, they completely changed the revenue mix and trajectory of the business by winning fortune 500 customers across retail, restaurant, consumer goods, and travel and hospitality segments.

Most recently, Clifford has taken on the role of Vice President and General Manager of the Creator Marketplace at Epic Games. In this role, they are responsible for managing all aspects of the marketplace, including content moderation, payment processing, customer support, and more.
