Sean T. Hwang

Board certified in epilepsy and clinical neurophysiology, Sean T. Hwang, MD specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of seizures, the interpretation of video electroencephalography, performs electrical cortical stimulation mapping and operative planning for epilepsy surgery. He is Associate Program Director of the Clinical Neurophysiology Fellowship Program at Northwell Health and Assistant Professor of Neurology at Hofstra Northwell School of Medicine. Dr. Hwang is a member of the American Academy of Neurology, American Epilepsy Society and American Clinical Neurophysiology Society. Dr. Hwang is widely known as an expert in his field and was the 2017 recipient of EPIC Long Island’s Professional Leadership Award for his commitment and dedication to his colleagues and patients.
