Caroline Kettlewell is a Communications Specialist at the United Network for Organ Sharing (UNOS), focusing on public health research and community experiences in organ donation and transplant since June 2022. As a freelance writer and author since 1994, Caroline has provided writing, editing, and consulting services across various formats for diverse clients. In addition, Caroline serves as a Coach/Consultant with RVA Writes, supporting writers and students through tailored coaching and academic writing assistance. As a Contributing Editor for Virginia Living since 2007, Caroline has contributed engaging articles and profiles while previously holding roles such as Writer in Residence at Sabot at Stony Point and Adjunct Instructor of English at Randolph-Macon College. Caroline’s experience as a features writer at The Washington Post from 2000 to 2007 includes long-form narratives on environmental and cultural topics. Caroline holds a BA in English/Literature from Williams College and an MA in Nonfiction Writing & Editing and Literature from George Mason University.
