Sam Ward

Sam Ward is an experienced Team Lead Manager on the Health Information Management (HIM) Implementation Team at Epic since November 2020, responsible for guiding customers through the HIM software implementation process as an Application Manager. Prior to this role, Sam served as both an Application Manager and Install Success Lead for various projects, including interoperability, users and security, testing, and business continuity and access for organizations such as Planned Parenthood and CareMore. Sam's earlier experiences include working as Student Staff at Young Life and a Legislative Intern for Michigan Senator Steve Bieda. Sam holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Government from the University of Michigan, where studies were completed from 2016 to 2020, and graduated from East Grand Rapids High School in 2016.
