Randy Axelrod

Randy Axelrod has extensive work experience in various leadership roles. Randy is currently serving as the Chief Strategy Officer (CSO) at Epica International Inc. and previously held the position of Chief Executive Officer at the same company. Prior to this, they worked as a Healthcare Consultant and Managing Director at Resource Global Health. Randy also served as a Venture Partner at SpringRock Ventures. Randy Axelrod was the President of ECQ Global from 2015 to 2021. Randy has held leadership positions at Providence Health & Services, including Chief Clinical Officer and Executive Vice President, as well as Senior Vice President of Clinical Program Services. Randy Axelrod was the Chair of the Pharmacy and Therapeutics Committee at the Commonwealth of Virginia from 2003 to 2012. Randy also worked at Anthem BCBS of Virginia as the VP/GM and SVP of Medical Management. Before that, they held the position of VP and Executive Medical Director at Sentara Healthcare.

Randy Axelrod began their education journey in 1975 at Tulane University, where they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Biochemistry. Randy attended Tulane University for a duration of three years, completing their program in 1978. After their undergraduate studies, Randy Axelrod then pursued higher education at the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine from 1978 to 1982. During this time, they obtained an MD degree with a specialization in Medicine.
