Ranya Mulchandani

Ranya Mulchandani is an experienced epidemiologist currently serving as a Research Assistant at ETH Zürich, focusing on antimicrobial resistance in food animals, and as a Consultant in Epidemiology at Epiconcept, supporting COVID-19 and influenza vaccine effectiveness studies. Ranya also works as a Consultant and Trainer for One Health Trust, leading training courses on spatiotemporal analysis of AMR data for researchers in Africa and Asia. Prior roles include Senior Epidemiology Scientist at the UK Health Security Agency, where Ranya led research on respiratory infections and Lyme disease, as well as extensive field experience with Public Health England, the World Health Organization, and Arba Minch University. Ranya holds a BSc in Biochemistry, a Master's in Control of Infectious Diseases, and is pursuing a PhD in Health Sciences at the University of Warwick.
