Jennifer Higgins

Jennifer Higgins has over two decades of experience in planning and development, currently serving as the Director of Planning & Development/Zoning Administrator for the Village of Weston since May 2003. In this role, Jennifer provides expertise and support to various Village entities, overseeing planning activities, enforcing zoning regulations, and managing building inspection and refuse programs. Previously, Jennifer held multiple positions within Marathon County, including Comprehensive Planner, where leadership was provided for a multi-jurisdictional comprehensive planning process. Early career roles included Land Use Planner and Planning Technician. Jennifer has also been involved with planning organizations as a student member and served as treasurer of the UWSP Student Planning Association. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Science in Resource Management with a Land Use Planning option from the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point.
