Terri has more than 20 years of healthcare industry experience working with and evaluating innovative technologies in complex, worldwide markets.
Prior to Epidarex, Terri was a member of the senior leadership team at Edwards Lifesciences and held multiple positions in the >$800 million heart valve business. Her roles included Vice President overseeing an R&D technical development program; Vice President of Global Marketing, and Vice President of Business Development, where she led several strategic acquisitions including Harpoon Medical, in which Epidarex was the lead investor.
Terri has adeptly managed the strategic positioning of a 40+ product portfolio, including launching numerous new products into worldwide markets, creating new product categories, delivering brand re-inventions, developing pipeline strategy and retiring products.
She has prior experience as a consultant for biotechnology and pharmaceutical companies in health economics with Covance Health Economics and Outcomes Services, and as a product marketer with Guidant Corporation.
Currently, Terri is a co-founder and the Chief Executive Officer of Protaryx Medical. She participates in a working group with the FDA that is drafting a framework to enhance the pediatric medical device innovation ecosystem. She is an active member of MedtechWOMEN and serves as an advisor to the Ignite Healthcare Network’s annual FirePitch Competition. Terri previously served on the Executive Committee for the American Heart Association Association’s Go Red for Women campaign in Los Angeles and co-chaired Circle of Red individual giving.
Terri also participates in the Duke Women’s Impact Network Leadership Committee for Women’s Athletics. Prior to this, she successfully co-led the first-ever capital campaign for a women’s Olympic sport (field hockey) at Duke.
Terri holds a B.S. in Biology from Duke University and an MBA from the University of Southern California.
