Katja Lotz

Katja Lotz is an accomplished engineering leader with extensive experience in the tech industry. Currently serving as the Director of Engineering - Soundtrack at Epidemic Sound since April 2021, Katja oversees the technical strategy, delivery, and culture for the Soundtrack domain, managing multiple product teams and supporting organizational development. Previous roles at Spotify included Engineering Manager - Security, where Katja led the platform's security team, and various agile coaching positions that emphasized diversity and inclusion initiatives. Early career experiences at HiQ, Combitech AB, and Scania provided a strong foundation in project management and systems engineering. Katja holds a Master of Science in Engineering Physics from Kungliga Tekniska Högskolan and has studied gender studies at Stockholm University.
