Linus Ekström

Linus Ekström has a diverse work experience starting in 2002. Linus began as a Developer at EPiServer, building a license system and working on the user interface and sample templates. Linus then became a Scrum master, leading a development team and focusing on building the user interface for the Episerver CMS product. Later, they took on the role of UX Architect and led the frontend development team in Stockholm.

In 2015, Linus joined Ted & Gustaf AB as a Senior Software Architect, where they built add-ons for EPiServer CMS and worked on custom implementations for customers.

In 2016, Linus moved to Niteco, where they served as a Technical Evangelist and then as CTO. As a Technical Evangelist, they were the main solution architect and created top-notch solutions for Niteco's customers. As CTO, they were responsible for ensuring the company had the right staff with the right skill sets, making strategic solutions on products and technologies, and managing budgets and key metrics.

Most recently, Linus became the CEO of Epinova AB in 2018.

Linus Ekström attended KTH Royal Institute of Technology from 1999 to 2002, where they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Engineering with a focus on Computer Science. Prior to their university education, they completed their high school education at Jakobsbergs Gymnasium from 1994 to 1997. Before that, they attended Viksjöskolan from 1991 to 1994.

In addition to their formal education, Linus Ekström has obtained certifications to enhance their professional skills. Linus obtained the Optimizely MVP Strategy certification from Optimizely in September 2017. Later, in December 2020, they obtained the Optimizely Certified Content Cloud Developer certification, also from Optimizely. Linus Ekström also holds the EPiServer Certified Developer certification, although the specific month and year of obtaining this certification are not provided.
