Brian Matthys

Brian Matthys, DO, FAOCD, FAAD, serves as a Dermatologist at Epiphany Dermatology since January 2021. In August 2017, Brian co-founded and became the CEO of Eclipse Rx, LLC, a wearable technology company focused on outdoor lifestyle products, including the BurŪV sun sensing smart band for Apple Watch. Since September 2014, Brian has been a Senior Advisor for North America at iDoc 24 and First Derm, leveraging technology to provide dermatologic advice. Additionally, Brian co-founded Fair & Fashionable, Inc. in June 2013 to promote the beauty of natural skin tones. As a Developer at EcoSport Sun Protection since January 2011, Brian has also created sun protection products. From November 2004 to January 2021, Brian owned Sunflower Dermatology. Brian received a Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from Des Moines University and holds a Bachelor of Science in Human Biology from The University of Kansas.
