Kate Torgerson

Kate Torgerson currently serves as a Team Lead Attorney at Epiq, overseeing a team of 8-10 attorneys and managing project assignments and deadlines since May 2022. Previously, Kate volunteered with Democracy NC while providing litigation support and legal analysis at Consilio LLC from December 2009 to May 2022. Additionally, Kate has held attorney positions at Watts Law Group PLLC, Merritt, Webb, Wilson & Caruso, PLLC, and Binder & Binder, focusing on legal research, drafting documents, and client counseling across various legal matters. Early career experiences include volunteer work with Legal Aid of North Carolina and roles as a student attorney and legal intern. Kate earned a JD in Litigation from Cooley Law School and a BA in Telecommunications and Marketing from Bowling Green State University.
