Jakob Rutqvist

Jakob Rutqvist is an accomplished Global Director and Commercial Vice President at Sandvik, overseeing commercial and sales development for electrified trucks and loaders in the global mining industry. With a robust background in strategy, mergers and acquisitions, Jakob has led significant initiatives within Mining and Rock Technology, managing a wide portfolio and supporting numerous divisions worldwide. Prior to Sandvik, Jakob held senior positions at Accenture, where recognition included the "Addo Agnitio Award" for excellence in collaboration, and held a directorial role at FORES. An entrepreneur at heart, Jakob co-founded GlobalFOCUS and has a strong academic foundation with a Master’s in Business and Economics from Harvard University, a stint at MIT Sloan School of Management, and a double Bachelor’s degree in Economics and Political Science from Uppsala University.
