João Cardoso

João Cardoso is a Business Development Manager at Epiroc since November 2017, overseeing Rock Drilling Consumables in the Iberia region. Previously, João held the role of Contracts Manager, managing service agreements and contracts worth approximately 10 million euros annually for mining customers, while also leveraging business intelligence tools for data analysis and dashboard development. Prior to Epiroc, João was a Sales Engineer at Atlas Copco in the Mining and Rock Excavation division and held the position of Contracts Manager in the same company, focusing on value-added contracts. Early career experiences include roles as a Geological and Mining Engineer at COBA and as a Mining Engineer Trainee at Cimpor Cimentos de Portugal. João holds a Master’s degree and a Bachelor's degree in Mining and Geological Engineering from Instituto Superior Técnico.
