Shane Karp

Shane Karp has a diverse work experience in marketing and communications spanning over the years. Shane currently holds the position of Sr. Director of Marketing and Communications at Epirus. Before that, they served as the VP of Marketing and Communications at BigBear.ai. Prior to that, they were the Director of US Marketing at Improbable, and before that, they worked as a Digital Marketing Strategist at Booz Allen Hamilton. Shane also held the position of Director of Digital Strategy at Subject Matter. Additionally, Shane has experience in public affairs and media relations from their role in the Air National Guard. Shane has also worked as a Senior Digital Manager at Weber Shandwick and as a Web Community Manager at SAIC. Furthermore, they were a Public Relations Specialist at the Air Force Sergeants Association and worked as a Poker Dealer at Revel Resort in the past.

Shane Karp received a Bachelor's Degree in Political Science from Rutgers University in 2011. In 2013, they attended the Defense Information School, specializing in Public Affairs as a Department of Defense member. Later, in 2015, they pursued a Master's Degree in Public Relations, Advertising, and Applied Communication from Georgetown University. In terms of certifications, they obtained the Adobe Digital Marketing Master Workshop certification from Adobe in 2019 and completed the AI for Leaders program at Babson College in 2021.
