Spandan Chakrabarti comes to ECS with in-depth communications and development expertise gained through a decade of experience in Bay Area nonprofits. Previously, he had worked in organizations serving diverse populations and causes ranging from foster care to stem cell advocacy, chronic disease management, and health education. In 2020, Spandan co-founded a unique nonprofit dedicated to connecting healthcare stakeholders and patient organizations from 4 continents.
Spandan received a Special Congressional Recognition in 2019 for his contribution to health policy and community development, and a Community Hero Award from the California State Assembly for his impact on chronic illness communities during the COVID pandemic in 2020.
