Tynetta J.

Tynetta J. currently serves as the Head of Middle School, Dean of Students, Boardman Chair of Science and Sustainability, and a Science and Math Teacher at Episcopal Day School in Augusta, GA, since August 2019. Additionally, Tynetta holds the position of Adjunct Professor at Augusta University, teaching a course focused on integrative STEM/STEAM education. Previous experiences include serving as a Graduate Researcher at Mercer University's Ph.D. Programs of the Tift College of Education and an Integrative STEAM Education Intern at Augusta University. Earlier roles include working as a Science Curriculum Developer and Secondary Science Teacher for the Richmond County School System. Tynetta's educational credentials consist of a Doctor of Philosophy in Curriculum and Instruction from Mercer University, a Master of Arts in Secondary Education from Augusta University, and a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Augusta University.
