Jane F Ellis

Jane F Ellis is an experienced professional in both ministry and healthcare. Since 2000, Jane has served as a Permanent Ordained Deacon at the Episcopal Diocese of Alabama, affiliated with Ascension Episcopal Church in Vestavia Hills. Jane has held various roles in theological and community service, including serving as an Associate with the Congregation of the Sisters of St. Joseph of Peace since 2008 and as Clergy Associate at the Episcopal Church of the Ascension from April 2015 to February 2023. Additionally, Jane brought expertise in marketing and public relations to Holy Name Medical Center as Vice President from July 2004 to June 2015. Academically, Jane holds multiple degrees, including an MPA in Health Care Administration from Auburn University, a Graduate Specialist in Gerontology from The University of Alabama, an MS in Counseling from Troy University, a BA in English/Sociology from Judson College, and has completed an Education for Ministry program in Theology from The University of the South.
