Jen Manning

Jen Manning currently serves as the Missioner for Youth, Campus, and Young Adult Ministries at the Episcopal Diocese of Alabama, a position held since June 2023. Jen is also the artist and owner of Abbe Hunt Ceramics, LLC, a small batch pottery studio established in December 2019. Previously, Jen served as the Development and Special Events Manager for the Alzheimer's Association®, overseeing event logistics and significantly increasing volunteer engagement. Jen has a strong background in youth ministry, having revitalized youth programs at St. Stephen's Episcopal Church and developed comprehensive faith-based curricula at both St. Stephen's and St. James Episcopal Churches. Jen began the professional journey as a special education teacher, shaping educational experiences for junior high students with Autism and behavioral disorders. Educational background includes a Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education and Special/Collaborative Education from The University of Alabama in Huntsville.
