Theresa Lewallen

Theresa Lewallen is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in community health, program administration, and nonprofit leadership. Since May 2019, Theresa has served as a Grants Administrator for the Fund for the Diaconate, while also fulfilling the role of Deacon at the Diocese of Virginia Episcopal since April 2016, focusing on community partnerships and volunteer engagement. Prior to these roles, Theresa held significant positions at the National Collaborative for Health Equity and ASCD, where responsibilities included strategic oversight of constituent services, program direction, and health initiatives. Theresa’s earlier experience includes roles in health education and community services within the City of Alexandria, Virginia, underscoring a commitment to health promotion and community engagement. Theresa holds a Master's degree in Community Health Promotion and Education from Trinity Washington University, alongside specialized training for the Episcopal Diaconate and a Bachelor's degree in Religious Studies from Randolph-Macon College.
