Director Of Community & Equity; Teacher, English Literature at EPISCOPAL HIGH SCHOOL

Louis Smith serves as the Director of Community & Equity and English Literature teacher at Episcopal High School since February 2013, contributing to senior leadership and spearheading initiatives for equitable community engagement and faculty development. Additionally, Louis coaches football, lacrosse, and indoor track, while teaching various English literature courses, including previously developed classes. Prior experience includes working as an Associate at Boies, Schiller & Flexner LLP focused on complex commercial litigation, antitrust, and securities matters, and serving as a Judicial Law Clerk for the U.S. District Court in Washington, D.C. Educational background includes a Master of Arts from Middlebury College's Bread Loaf School of English, a Juris Doctor from the University of California, College of the Law, San Francisco, and a Bachelor of Arts in English from Williams College.
