Melinda Thompson

Melinda Thompson is an experienced educator and business professional with a strong background in physics and academic support, currently serving at Episcopal High School since August 2007, focusing on Mathematics and Science while also fulfilling the role of a dorm parent. Additionally, Melinda is a small business coach at Playworks Speech and Language Therapy since September 2019, and the founder of Mindys Makes, overseeing design and sales since September 2010. With over a decade of private tutoring experience since February 2007, Melinda has worked with students from various educational backgrounds to enhance understanding and improve academic performance. Melinda's teaching career includes roles at Fairlington Preschool, The Bullis School, Gilman School, and Saint James School, where responsibilities included teaching various physics courses and coaching sports. Melinda holds a Master of Arts in Physics Teacher Education from the University of Virginia and a Bachelor of Arts in Physics from Wittenberg University.
