Paula Cates is an experienced nursing professional with a career spanning several decades in various healthcare settings. Currently serving as the RN Care Team Manager at Episcopal Retirement Services since August 2002, Paula manages a 52-bed Memory Care Neighborhood and provides support and direction to a team of over 40 staff members. Prior to this role, Paula worked as a Nurse Manager/MDS Coordinator at Christian Church Homes of Kentucky from 1996 to 2002, where responsibilities included managing a 60-bed long-term care unit and completing MDS assessments. Earlier experience includes serving as a Charge Nurse at Baptist Health Louisville and as both a Staff Nurse and Charge Nurse at St. Anthony's Medical Center. Paula holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from Indiana University Southeast.
