Siri Torhaug

Siri Torhaug is a highly experienced professional in the field of oncology, currently serving as the Head of Oncology Development at Epitopea since July 2025. Prior experience includes the role of Chief Medical Officer at Nykode Therapeutics from January 2020 to July 2025 and Medical Team Lead for Oncology at AstraZeneca from August 2017 to January 2020. Siri's background also includes positions at Novartis Oncology Nordics as Nordic Medical Lead for Immuno-Oncology and Pipeline from October 2016 to July 2017, and Medical Adviser at Novartis Oncology Norway, where responsibilities encompassed various cancer types. Siri began a career in medicine at Oslo universitetssykehus, completing a residency and specialist training, becoming a certified Oncology specialist in 2011. A foundation in clinical research was established as a Clinical Research Associate at Smerud Medical Research. Siri holds a Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) degree in Oncology and Cancer Biology from the University of Oslo, attained from 1992 to 1998.
