Samar Akiki

Samar Akiki is a licensed clinical psychologist with extensive experience in providing therapy and psychological services to children, teenagers, and adults. Currently working at EPNAK since February 2023, Samar specializes in autism education within the UEMA and SESSAD TSA. Previous roles include clinical psychologist at Maudsley Health, where therapy and assessments were provided, and operating a private practice for nearly five years. Samar has also worked as a school counselor in a special needs department, contributing to individualized educational plans and multidisciplinary team leadership. Notable experiences include research roles assessing children's psychological skills and the prevalence of Autism Spectrum Disorder in Lebanon. Samar holds a Master's degree in Clinical Psychology from Saint Joseph University of Beirut.
