Larry S. Martin

Larry S. Martin has extensive work experience in various technical roles. Larry S. started their career in 2000 as a Manufacturing Tech at Intel Corporation, where they operated tools and performed maintenance and repairs. From 2004 to 2006, they worked as a Field Service Supervisor at BancTec, supervising technicians and providing repair services for desktops, laptops, and printers.

In 2006, Larry became a self-employed Field Service Technician, specializing in installations, upgrades, and repairs of Point of Sales systems, credit card terminals, and phone systems.

In 2009, they joined CompuCom as a Level 2 Computer Tech for a CDC project at Intel, where they performed server installations and rack anchoring. Larry S. later transitioned to a Level 3 Lead Tech role, providing break/fix support for Intel employees and managing logistics and Linux support for an engineering compute data center.

Larry joined Intel Corporation again in 2014 as a Lead F11x Winclient Touch Service Technician, responsible for troubleshooting and repairing hardware and software issues on factory computing equipment. Larry S. then moved on to Intel Labs in 2018, working as a Level 4 Lab Technician for HPC Frontier Labs, performing hardware upgrades, troubleshooting, and installing new equipment.

In 2019, Larry joined Rebellis as a BIA Data Center Technician II, where they monitored server rooms and coordinated with vendors for maintenance. Larry S. then worked at Encantado Technical Solutions in 2021 as a SOC Analyst I, monitoring and detecting issues in IT resources.

Currently, Larry holds the position of Integration Specialist II at Epoch Concepts, where they are responsible for the installation and documentation of data center equipment, as well as performing power-on and burn-in testing.

From 2021 to 2022, Larry attended StationX and obtained a Certificate in Cyber Security and Networking.

During the same period, they also attended Noble Work Foundation, where they obtained another Certificate in Cyber Security and Networking.

Prior to that, from 1998 to 2000, Larry attended Southwestern Indian Polytechnic Institute, earning an AAS degree in Electronic Technology and Semiconductor Manufacturing in the field of Electronic Engineering Technology.

In addition to their formal education, Larry has also obtained several certifications. Larry S. received the Microsoft Technology Associate: Security Fundamentals (MTA) certification from Microsoft in May 2021, and they obtained the Subnetting in Your Head certification from LinkedIn in February 2021. Larry also has the Microsoft Technology Associate: Networking Fundamentals (MTA) certification from Microsoft, which they received in January 2021, and the Networking Foundations: Networking Basics certification from LinkedIn, obtained in the same month. Prior to these, Larry obtained the Customer Service: Handling Abusive Customers certification from LinkedIn in October 2019.

Larry's certification history also includes the VMware Certified Associate Data Center Virtualization certification from VMware, obtained in May 2014. Larry S. also holds the HP Master PC Technician certification from HP, received in April 2008.

Furthermore, Larry obtained the A+ Certification from CompTIA in April 1995 and is expected to receive the CompTIA Security+ certification in March 2023.
