Shiraz Gillani

Shiraz Gillani is a Senior Geospatial Data Scientist at EpochGeo since January 2022, with prior experience as a Geospatial Data Scientist at BigBear, Inc. from November 2019 to January 2022. Between July 2013 and November 2019, Shiraz held multiple roles at Leidos, including Geospatial Analyst/LiDAR Processor and Airborne Imagery Processor. Earlier experience includes working as a Transportation Planner for the Michigan Department of Transportation from September 2011 to May 2013, where geospatial data for Travel Demand Modeling was streamlined across Michigan's counties. Additionally, Shiraz served as a Community Planner for the City of Cheboygan in early 2012, leading a team to produce a comprehensive port asset inventory report. Educational qualifications include a Master's degree in Global Security Studies from Arizona State University and a Bachelor's degree in City/Urban, Community and Regional Planning from Michigan State University.
