Cengiz Filiz

Cengiz Filiz has a diverse range of work experience. Cengiz is currently the Director of Operations at Jordan Intercom and Security Systems, Inc., where they focus on improving workflows and communication between the office manager, owner, technicians, and clients.

Prior to this role, Cengiz worked as a Newsletter Journalist at The Epoch Times, where they created The Morning Bell newsletter and provided financial literacy to over 1 million daily subscribers.

Cengiz also worked at Excelor Capital as an LP, assisting in advisory services and asset management. At Robert Half Accountemps, they served as a Staffing Manager, helping job seekers find positions in accounting and finance.

Cengiz gained experience in investment research as an Intern at IQ-G Associates, LLC, where they conducted research on various asset fund classes and developed executive summaries and valuation reports.

Cengiz also served as the VP of Public Relations at Toastmasters International and as a Database Coordinator at Northbound Executive Search, where they matched high-caliber talent with top-tier companies.

Earlier in their career, Cengiz worked as an Internal Audit Intern at American Express, performing risk management audits, and as a Sales Representative at CUTCO Cutlery, promoting cutlery products through telemarketing and door-to-door sales.

Cengiz began their career as an Administrative Assistant at Wilson Daily Prep, where they graded students' practice SAT questions and maintained a database of business files.

Cengiz Filiz completed their high school education at Lincoln High School from 2008 to 2012. Cengiz obtained a High School Diploma with a focus on the Academy of Finance. Following this, from 2012 to 2014, Cengiz pursued an Associate's degree in Business Administration and Management at Borough of Manhattan Community College. Then, from 2015 to 2017, they attended Baruch College, where they earned a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree with a specialization in Finance. Alongside their formal education, Cengiz participated in the Career Ventures Program at Street-Wise Partners.
