Derek Cornelius

Derek Cornelius has extensive experience in the firefighting field, serving as a Captain and Lieutenant at Clemmons Fire Department since September 2009, following earlier roles as a Firefighter. In addition to this, Derek has been with Forbush Fire Department as a part-time Paid and Volunteer Firefighter since April 2002, progressing to Captain. Derek also worked as a Fire Engineer at West Yadkin Fire Department from March 2009 to March 2019 and is currently an Implementation Specialist at EPR Systems since September 2021. Derek holds an Associate in Applied Science degree in Fire Prevention Technology from Forsyth Technical Community College, completed between 2006 and 2008.
