Monte Kalisch has a diverse background in technology and education. Their most recent role was as the Head of Product Technology at EPS Learning, where they led the development of literacy solutions for grades PreK through 12. Prior to that, they served as the Head of Technology at Prenda, a startup education company that supports microschools. Monte also worked as the Director of Technology at the University of San Diego, where they co-invented a social good innovation curriculum. Monte has a strong background in the education industry, with experience at companies like Connections Education and Pearsons. Additionally, they have worked in web development and technology roles at various organizations, including Versient and Ntercept Communications.
Monte Kalisch obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Computer Science and Mathematics from the University of Northern Colorado, where they studied from 1992 to 1995. Monte then pursued a Master of Science in Business Administration with a focus on Computer Information Systems at Colorado State University, completing their studies from 1996 to 1998. In addition to their degrees, they obtained certifications as a Certified ScrumMaster® from the Scrum Alliance in 2013 and as a Certified Scrum Product Owner® in 2014.
