Duncan Hodnett is an accomplished finance professional with extensive experience in investor relations and distribution. Currently serving as the Head of Investor Relations and Distribution at Epsilon Direct Lending since November 2023, Duncan previously held the position of Head of Global Distribution at Maple-Brown Abbott from March 2020 to November 2023. Prior experience includes Director of Institutional Sales at Pinnacle Investment Management Group Limited and roles at Eaton Vance and Macquarie Bank, where responsibilities encompassed institutional sales and business development across various regions, including Australia, the UK, and Europe. Duncan holds a management and finance degree from Macquarie Business School and has an educational background from Peterhouse Boys and Hillcrest High School.

Epsilon Direct Lending is a founder-led, Australian investment boutique established in 2019. Our focus is solely on lending to support the growth of performing middle market companies. We directly originate, structure and manage private market loans. We provide institutional and wholesale investors with access to these hard-to-replicate, privately negotiated financings. Epsilon was established for two primary reasons: 1. To capitalise on the demand/supply imbalance resulting from traditional bank lenders being challenged in providing bespoke financing solutions to growing middle market companies; and 2. To address the desire of our long-standing borrower customers to achieve certainty and efficiency of financing.
