Joe Millward is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in corporate lending and investment management. As a Founding Partner at Epsilon Direct Lending since November 2019, Joe has played a pivotal role in establishing an Australian non-bank corporate lender and private markets investment manager. Prior to this, Joe served at Commonwealth Bank from February 2013 to October 2019 in various senior roles, including Executive Manager of Business & Corporate Banking, overseeing a corporate lending portfolio and leading strategic initiatives, as well as Executive Director of Corporate Finance. Joe's earlier experience includes a role as COO at Bank of America and Head of Loan Funds at RBS Global Banking & Markets, managing significant loan portfolios and contributing to strategy formulation. Joe holds a Fellowship from the Association of Certified Chartered Accountants and completed education at Colfe's School in London.

Epsilon Direct Lending
Epsilon Direct Lending is a founder-led, Australian investment boutique established in 2019. Our focus is solely on lending to support the growth of performing middle market companies. We directly originate, structure and manage private market loans. We provide institutional and wholesale investors with access to these hard-to-replicate, privately negotiated financings. Epsilon was established for two primary reasons: 1. To capitalise on the demand/supply imbalance resulting from traditional bank lenders being challenged in providing bespoke financing solutions to growing middle market companies; and 2. To address the desire of our long-standing borrower customers to achieve certainty and efficiency of financing.
