Thandolwenkosi Mthembu

Thandolwenkosi Mthembu is an accomplished urban planning specialist and lecturer with a diverse background in architecture and urban development. Currently serving as a lecturer at California Polytechnic State University since September 2022, Thandolwenkosi also holds the position of board member for the SANRAL Black Consulting Engineering Association and is a member of the Board of Trustees at Epworth School. With extensive experience at AZANIYA 360 since February 2015, responsibilities include project planning, urban management, architectural design, and community engagement. Previous roles include lecturer and urban development strategist at Durban University of Technology and part-time lecturer at Oxford Royale Academy. Thandolwenkosi's educational qualifications include a Master’s degree in Urban Planning from Oxford Brookes University, a Postgraduate degree from the University of the Witwatersrand, and a Bachelor of Architecture from the University of KwaZulu-Natal.
